Are you curious about what archaeologists do and why? Do you know anything about the archaeology in your neighbourhood, town or county? This course is designed for members of the public who want to know more about archaeology and to generate an understanding and interest in their local built heritage. Week by week this course will be presented using case-studies with particular reference to the Cork and Munster regions where possible. In addition, this course will offer weekly activities aimed at giving the course attendees an interactive experience with our interesting past.
