Course Content:

The course will concentrate on developing basic writing, reading and speaking skills. The classes will focus on speaking, reading and writing in Modern Arabic.

At the end of the course the students will have acquired the following competencies:

Master the Arabic alphabet in reading and writing

Have a basic vocabulary of 300 words.

Know how to express basic feelings and emotions.

Know how to construct basic sentences in Arabic.

Course format:

The class will consist of brief lectures on grammar, followed by various speaking, writing, and reading exercises.
